OH! You prettyprettypretty things

Mr Mitten's big adventure
You know how much I like pretty pretty pretty - make sure you click through and pay them a visit. All the best info on makeups and good ole girly stuff.

Threadless has come up with THE most irresistible t-shirt I've seen in an age - kitten, lasers, horn rimmed glasses - Check.

Other pretty things on my mind:
David Tennant as Hamlet. I was all ready to proclaim Hottest.Hamlet.Ever and then I recalled long haired Ralph Fiennes ...

Music of the year - month by month
from The Times

Nigella has some serious competition - Russell Brand and the boys from the Mighty Boosh are amongst the fans of her hot cookies - it's Cookie Girl.

The secret to the perfect Bond theme. Now that's Amy Winehouse is out, it's Jack White and Alicia Keys.

If I was in Wellington, I'd be up for this Hogarth exhibition. I'm all about the 18th century y'all.

It's adios to the lovely John Simms in Life on Mars. A wonderful last episode and great use of the theme song. The fabulously sexist funny DCI Gene Hunt (Philip Glenister) and two of his coppers will be appearing in the follow-up show Ashes to Ashes. This time it's London 1981 and criminal profiler Alex Drake (Keeley Hawes) also ends up in a coma and working with the Hunt. Coolio. It'll be on Prime later this year. Mark E. Smith loves Gene Hunt, it's all through his autobiography Renegade.
