Civil Unions

John Campbell wants to know what we should call people entering into civil unions

Might I profer "civilians" or "unionists" - both have a militant/militaristic/rebel tone which I think pretty cool

I hate the term "partner" - just makes me think of cowboys (and I like cowboys)
